Content | Facts: Finger Millet is gluten-free and a good source protein, fibre and essential minerals. Millet is one of the oldest grains in the world and is cultivated in Asia, East Africa and parts of West Africa including Nigeria.

Recipe Suggestion
Natural Millet with Honey and Lemon
Ingredients: 5 heaped tablespoons (120 g), 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of clear honey.
Method:
(1)- Mix the flour with 350mls of cold water in a 2 litter pan to make a smooth paste.
(2)- Place the pan on a moderate heat. Add 3/4 litter of boiling water gradually, stir quickly and continuously until the paste turns chocolate brown and begins to boil. Add more hot water to desired thickness.
(3)- Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the honey and Lemon juice. Simmer for another 3 minutes. The porridge is to serve.
Serving: Allow the porridge to cool for 2-3 minutes before eating.
More Flavour: you can add Ginger, sugar, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamoms and Cloves as spices in your porridge.
