Nilotica is a rare type of shea that is harvested from 20-year old trees, grown wild in the Nile River Valley. Notica Shea is only found in East Africa and been used for both skin and table oil for generations.

Recipe Suggestion

Natural Sorghum with Honey and Lemon Serving 2 : Ingredients: 4 heaped tablespoons (120 g), 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoon of clear honey.

Method:

(1) - Mix the flour with 350mls of cold water in a 2 litter pan to make a smooth paste. (2) - Place the pan on a moderate heat. Add 3/4 litter of boiling water gradually, stir quickly and continuously until the paste turns chocolate brown and begins to boil. Add more hot water to desired thickness. (3) - Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the honey and Lemon juice. Simmer for another 3 minutes. The porridge is to serve. Allow the porridge to cool for 2-3 minutes before eating. Alternatively use Ginger, sugar, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamoms and Cloves as spices in your porridge.
